Following our win at the 2012 NUS Scotland Awards, Hands Off Abertay has been announced as a finalist for NUS UK's Campaign of the Year award.
NUS announced this week that Hands Off Abertay is a nominated finalist for the 2012 Campaign of the Year award.
The award for campaign of the year celebrates creative, original and outstanding student-led campaigns that achieve the changes necessary to benefit students lives. Along side Hands Off Abertay as nominated finalists are 'Don't bin Bristol bursaries' by University of Bristol Union and MidKent College Students' Union's campaign to reduce student travel costs.
The award is judged by Beijing Paralympics Double Medalist, Fran Williamson; David Babbs, Director of the 'Campaigning Community', 38degrees and Sarah Veale, Head of Equality and Employment Rights Department at the TUC.
