Every year the Scottish Institute for Enterprise employ new interns at each campus to help spread the word about entrepreneurship as a genuine career choice. The search has now started for the next one.
Abertay's current intern is Justin McGirr who is our Head of Enterprising Activities at Abertay. Our Head of Business School Representation, Nicola Thomson, has also been SIE intern in the past.

SIE Student Intern (p/t)
(20 positions - up to 10 hours/week, term time only)
As part of our continued growth in driving forward Scotland's enterprise agenda, the Scottish Institute for Enterprise (SIE) requires twenty Student Interns to join the team in this exciting project.
One position will be available for a current, fully matriculated student at each of our partner Scottish Higher Education Institutions. The successful applicants will be responsible for: providing logistical and promotional support to SIE and institutional entrepreneurship activities; researching existing enterprise & entrepreneurship education and initiatives at their institution and acting as a student face of SIE and institutional enterprise activity. Applicants should have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a small team and on their own initiative.
Applicants will also have genuine enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and SIE's goal of increasing the uptake of entrepreneurial activity and education amongst the student population in Scotland's HEIs.
