Tickets are nearly all gone for the Graduation Ball, to be held on Friday 9 July 2010 at the Apex City Quay Hotel. Drop in to the Campus Shop to be sure of getting yours.

This year’s ball, to be held the day after graduation, will be an incredible occasion – with a red carpet welcome, a drinks reception and three-course dinner, a live jazz band and table magician during dinner, followed by a ceilidh band and a DJ. Each table will also get a disposable camera.

After the ball ends, the Student Union is open until 6am to let the party continue. Friends and family are very welcome to attend.

Dinner tickets are £35. The Student Union after-party is £5 entry. Dress style: black tie formal!

Menu:

• Duck and orange pate, with leaves and Cumberland sauce
• Chicken breast with potato and basil hash, buttered greens and Shiraz juice
• New York cheesecake with sour black cherry compote and Chantilly
• Coffee/tea and mints

Vegetarian options will be offered on the night for the starter and main meal.

If anyone has special dietary requirements, we need to know in advance.

Times:

• Pre-dinner drinks/sparkling wine reception - 7pm until 7.30pm
• Dinner - 7.30 until 9.30pm
• Ceilidh band - 9.30 until 11pm
• DJ - 12.30am
• Student Union after-party – 11.30pm until 6.00am
