Elections are held every year, giving students a chance to vote for who they want to represent them. There are two full-time Sabbatical officers, the President and Vice-President, who work to help extend, develop and defend the rights of and to represent students at Abertay University.
For the academic year 2011/2012 the following officers got elected in March 2011:

Simon Patterson (Vice President)
Sarah Samson
Helping the two elected members, there are 6 part-time Executive Officers who make up the Executive Committee.
